Terms of Service

Effective 26 August 2026. Learnt is operated by Learnt Solutions LLC (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or buying a course you agree to these terms.

What Learnt is

Learnt turns a YouTube video you choose into a structured course: modules, questions, a review queue, and a notes margin. The course material is generated automatically from the video’s captions using AI. We are not affiliated with YouTube or with the creators of the videos you study, and buying a course from us does not give you any rights in the underlying video — it plays from YouTube, under YouTube’s own terms, inside your course.

Your account

You need an account to buy and keep courses. Keep your login to yourself; you are responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your country). We can suspend accounts that abuse the service, attempt to resell generated content at scale, or use it unlawfully.

Buying and keeping courses

Each course is priced up front, quoted from the video’s length, and includes 30 days of access. After that, an active subscription (retention or creator) keeps every course you have bought unlocked. Courses whose access lapses are locked, never deleted — resubscribe and they come back. Creator subscriptions include monthly course credits; credit terms (rollover and caps) are shown at the point of purchase.

AI-generated content

Questions, summaries, and module structure are generated by AI from the video’s captions. We work hard on their quality, but they can contain mistakes — a wrong answer key, a mangled timestamp, an awkward question. Courses are a study aid, not professional advice, and no course is endorsed by the video’s creator.

Refunds

Our refund policy is short and real — it lives on its own page: Refunds. In brief: if a course fails to generate you are refunded automatically, and if a course disappoints you, tell us within 7 days. A refunded course is un-bought: access to it ends, and subscriptions do not restore it (you can buy it again later).

Payments

Payments are handled by our third-party payment processor. We never see or store your card number. Subscription charges renew monthly until you cancel; you can cancel any time and keep access through the end of the paid period.

Our content and yours

Your notes are yours. The generated course structure and questions are ours, licensed to you for personal study — export your notes freely, but please don’t republish or resell generated courses. Feedback you send us can be used to improve the product.

The service, honestly

We aim to keep Learnt fast and available, but it is provided “as is”, without warranties, and our total liability to you is capped at the amount you paid us in the twelve months before a claim. We depend on third parties (YouTube captions availability among them) that can change under us; where a change breaks a purchase in progress, the refund policy applies.
